Early donor search is essential for patients newly diagnosed with HLH. Allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) is a treatment indicated for recurrent or progressive HLH that may improve outcomes over time, especially with ongoing efforts to optimize pre-transplant treatment.
