HLA Today Search Summary Report Guide
The HLA Today Search Summary Report provides valuable human leukocyte antigen (HLA) typing information. Early HLA typing and referral for a transplant consultation can improve patient outcomes. If patients are considered a candidate for transplant, the report can help transplant centers start identifying potential donors and stem cell sources. For each patient typed through the HLA Today program, a search summary report is generated and sent to the hematology/oncology practice participating in the program, as well as the transplant center receiving the patient for consultation. The HLA Today Search Summary Report Guide provides useful information on how to use this report and best coordinate with the transplant center.
Target audience
Hematology/oncology physicians and nurses, HLA Today users, and coordinators.
